We are pleased to announce to have the first solo exhibition of Kento Nito at Gallery Terra Tokyo. Nito will show his works of sculpture in the form of performance, video installation. His theme is “into sculpture acts”. He uses plaster, cloth and his own action to create “materials”=”sculpture”.

［作家コメント］
All the materials and all the events have a possibility of contacts with our bodies. When we face on the possibility of contacts strongly, we first time notice that we are already in the embracing and simultaneously embraced relationship regardless we wish or not. In this exhibition, the action of “Embrace” is main performance and seeking the possibility and property of influence of my body self.

Kento Nito
Born in 1986, Saitama. B.A. sculpture course of Musashino Art University. M.A Tokyo University of the Arts. Selected Solo exhibitions : "Throwing for the Unforeseen”(2012/TWS hongo/ Tokyo), "It can not wash away!" "standpoints"(2010,2012/florist_gallery N/Aichi). Selected Group exhibitions : "14th TARO Award for contemporary Art. Exhibition"(2011/Kanagawa) "Tokyo wonder wall 2011"(2011/Tokyo).
