Paintings have been produced, appreciated, and told about throughout all time. Perhaps that is because paintings, as means of communication, have always moved the soul of people.

I want to find such a painting and love it from the bottom of my heart. That's why this exhibition "Power of a Painting" was organized.

"A painting" and "art" may not be useful in times of national emergency, but I think it will be a hope that inspires and encourages people. We would like to believe in the power of art, show it to you, and feel it.

Each participating artist is expressing respectively and it is noticeably powerful. There are various kinds of works such as a colorful drawing on a huge paper that seems to reach the ceiling, a project concerning the East Japan great earthquake, and etc. Yet, there is one grooving atmosphere among them.
