This exhibition introduces his 4 new works “Ushi-mitsu-doki”, “Hana-shobu”, “Michael Jackson”, and “Roadside bomb”, each exhibited on a wall of the room. The subjects vary from one with strong, entertaining colors to a political one. All the works are created by the method of “boxing painting”, that can be called as Shinohara's pronouns, and his fist is thrown at the shocking color and the intense description. It may be not satisfactory compared with "Gyu-to-Chu; Ushio SHINOHARA and Chu ENOKI" (Toyota Municipal Museum of Art and 2007), but the still vigorous desire of 1932-born artist, Shinohara, for production is remarkable as seen in “Roadside Bomb” in which purple color explodes into the center of the screen like a huge fist.
