The work of Nishioka in this exhibition has the element of a static transition in itself. The material is endured and a part of owned "Time" is disclosed, when he took the part and belongings of the 120 years-old housel. Or, as seen in “Nuka-ball” (rice bran and water, 2009), the work becomes effective in ‘time’. This exhibition evokes a feeling of static transition that even the 100 years is short time.
