Miki, who creates infant-like figures that have beautiful curves and pottery-like texture on the theme of tears, has raised her reputation since the first exhibition held last year for her great skill and the charm contained in her works. For this time, dynamically and more sentimentally, she will present a 182 cm height large-scale work that will be her first time to challenge such big. While most of her works may look cute for the infant-like form, the latest work "crown" seems to express human's grotesque emotion subsisted in the theme of tears as the eyes of the figure in tears look like insect's eggs. On another latest work "silver", in spite of the immature body, the representation of beautiful curves of a human body, which is characteristic of Miki's work, is even more sophisticated to give voluptuous impression as much as we get dizzied. Here, we are pleased to invite you to this exhibition which will be the closing of 2009. * The text provided by CASHI.
