The Sculptors Yasushi Kanno and Hanako Kobayashi have been working together in a renovated traditional old house in Nagaoka(Niigata), transforming what we see in this uncertain times into images that can be seen beyond the material and space. They have been working with materials such as stone and wood.
This is the first time in 17 years that they share the exhibition space together. We will be seeing the ‘certainty’ that is created by the each artist’s current works exhibited in one space.
