Opened in Nihonbashi, Tokyo in 2005 as a primary gallery for contemporary art, “unseal contemporary” aims to discover previously undiscovered new, ambitious, or original talent, and promote it inside and outside the country. Regardless of the art media, it handles artists who have a style that is considered "weird but real and beautiful". Among the represented artists are Ryoko Kato, Yoko Kamoshita, Minami Komori, Tomohiro Takagi, Daisuke Tamano, Maggie, Misa Narikiyo, Kenichi Yokono, and many others.
