Opened in Roppongi in 2003 and established in a new space in Ryogoku Tokyo in 2008, GALLERY MoMo is a contemporary art gallery mainly handling domestic new artists. With the aim of discovering the next generation’s artists and supporting them, it has presented a number of successful personalities to the market, including Yuka Ohtani. The new space in Ryogoku is a renovated former factory. It has a high ceiling and great depth that is suitable for the exhibition of diversified contemporary artworks.
Among the represented artists are Naomi Okubo, Yuka Ohtani, Ayako Okuda, Miwa Ishiba, Ayano Kaeba, Masatake Kouzaki, Yosuke Kobashi, Yukari Sakata, Tokuro Sakamoto, Eisuke Sato, Hideyuki Nagasawa, Yoshiko Fukushima, Atsushi Nakaya, Maki Miyashita, Hajime Mizutani, Kumiko Muroi, Tomoyasu Murata, Waka Yoshida and many others.
