"EXILE HIRO + The calligraphy work by SHOSYU" caused a great sensation after a full-page advertisement on Adidas Newspaper this New Year. He started off his activities more vigorously than previous years, and we are going to hold his new solo exhibition, which was scheduled to take place in March but was cancelled due to the Great East Japan Earthquake. The exhibition will mainly involve his masterpiece "Boku-shin series", which is a one kanji letter "墨" written with his homemade Chinese ink, some calligraphy work based on Japanese and Chinese traditional calligraphy, and some sensitive small calligraphy work using a very fine brush. In addition, we are also expecting to exhibit a piece of his work that is inspired by the well-respected Eric Clapton's music, which also is chosen to be printed in an elementary school art textbook "To Expand The Dream (Yume wo hirogete)" this April. * The text provided by MAKII MASARU FINE ARTS.
