This year almost 40 top galleries from Japan, the United States, the Netherlands, Hong Kong and Taiwan will be presenting over 500 photographic works in a spectacular setting overlooking the capital. In addition, the Museum of Photographic Arts (MoPA) in San Diego will return, this time to mount an exhibition highlighting color, instead of monochrome, masterpieces from their American collection. Sponsored in part by the US Embassy, the Photo America II exhibition will present visitors with a panoramic overview of American photographic expression over the last half century. Also returning to Tokyo Photo this year will be luxury brand BVLGARI. On the occasion of its coveted B.zero1 collection’s 10th anniversary, the Italian jeweler will be displaying their new ring designed by Anish Kapoor, one of the world’s most acclaimed living sculptors. http://jp.bzero1.bulgari.com/ Participating galleries <international> * The text provided by TOKYO PHOTO 2010 Committee Schedule: September 17 - 20, 2010 |
