It is with great pleasure that we present Phases of Time in Art. This is the third exhibition of our Summer Museum Project, which is designed for both adults and children to enjoy various expression of contemporary art.
The theme of this year is Time. Didn’t you ever feel that time goes by faster as we get older, or time moved very slowly when we were children? Although we never doubt that we live in the three divisions of time, past, present and future, the moment that was once the present flies away and becomes part of the past... Even if we say Time in a word, it brings us variety of imagery.
In this show, we introduce wide range of works from painting, sculpture, and photography to video art with five verbs as clues. It would be a good experience to spend same summer time with children in our museum.
Additionally, activity sheets for school children will be prepared, on which teachers, university students and curators have been working together by holding meetings to consider the theme and exhibits. It is a new model of collaboration with schools and the museum.
