Nine star-architects from Tokyo cross over in Raiding, an Austrian farming village, where composer Franz Liszt was born two hundred years ago. They play with the idea of creating multifunctional micro-structures that combine the fast-paced lifestyle of a mega-city with the relaxed nature of the countryside. Their concepts are now presented for the first time in Tokyo by MINI Japan, on the occasion of the 24th World Congress of Architecture (UIA). As a special highlight, Hiroshi Hara – famous for buildings like Kyoto Station and Sapporo Dome – has designed a portable twin-garage for the new 4-door MINI model, MINI Crossover.
