Kumiko Negami was born in Gunma in 1982, graduated the Tokyo University of Arts, art research course in sculpture major (graduate school). She exhibited in the group exhibition at Gallery MoMo in January and October last year, and the unique sculpture expression was popular. Negami makes the animal seen like the dog a work with the wood carving and clay, etc. , and all the works recollect a human being, especially by seeing the man's foot which make us feel puzzled. In this exhibition, her sculptures surprise us by such as the foot being bound to the retreat, the dog in the characteristic demonstrating and the number field being hung by a thickish wire, and a real person flying strangely over the sky.
