SUGIYAMA has been working for several years on one theme; Eklipse (Eclipse in english). Continued from the exhibition last year, She will exhibit the works that are created based on the same theme. This exhibition will be constructed by a few small paintings and a sculpture tower shaped object made with aluminium and stainless, that is about 2 meters height. Concept from the artist

The views of landscape change everytime when taking a new step and the figures appear then disappear instantly like the steps we take when walking around in a garden. I try to lock “the moment of the movement” that can be seen in the movement of staying, lifting and falling, as well as to corporealize the “unshaped objects” . Also I explore the influence on our visual thinking between two and three dimensional world.
