Kou IGARASHI is a photographer who aims to catch a passage of ‘’eternal time’’ over too fast and busy contemporary society. He tries to do so not by a strong message, but by a simple image with blank spaces so that viewers can imagine freely.

The theme of this exhibition is ‘Sea and Snow’. About 15 works will be exhibited.

Comment from Artist:
I feel my body temperature in soundless YUKI(snow/雪).
I realize that I am a living creature in front of overwhelming UMI(sea/海).

I feel human movement between UMI and the land.

I think about human’s life by a scenery buried under YUKI.

Both UMI and YUKI and are MIZU(water/水).
