It is hard to believe that it has been 8 years since I studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston on scholarship program funded by Agency for Cultural Affair of Japan. During my stay in Boston, I visited the Boston Higashi School (BHS) and was impressed by the program and expansive campus.

Five years ago, I opened my own gallery by refurbishing a studio in my house. At present, I am finally fulfilling my dream to exhibit artwork created by autistic students with multi-cultural backgrounds from BHS. I am honored that Dr. Hinohara, Chairman of the Board of Trustees/Honorary President of St. Luke’s International Hospital, Tokyo will attend the reception on the first day of the exhibition.

The B-gallery opened in March 2003 to exchange with artists from all over the world and introduce their works, particularly modern art. The east side of the building is adjoined to the Jiyu Gakuen Myonichikan (the House of Tomorrow), Important Cultural Property of Japan, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, one of the three most renowned architects in the 20th Century. I have hosted exchange exhibitions with United Kingdom, Spain, Netherlands, Italy, Turkey, Portugal, and Germany in the past and plan one with Canada next year. This current exhibition received sponsorship from U.S. Embassy, Tokyo. I hope to continue introducing diverse and exceptional pieces of artwork at boutique art studio.

Please enjoy every single piece of unique artwork!
