Works of Yuukyuusai, who continues to work announcement at GEISAI, both drawings and objets are made of a number of colorful and glittering material, their coloration looking grotesque at first glance attracting gallery irresistibly. In addition, most audience can't help but marvel at the artist standing by, who herself becomes her work wearing her own objets. But her all works are very personal created for herself in contrast with their appearance. Drawings representing only animals are all self-portraits, objets are others protecting her, and costumes are produced to make communication with external world smooh, being the protectors to protect herself. Because her works produced driven by necessity are created to seek communication with others, they evoke complex feelings from audience, being grotesque but like humans. In this exhibition, we constitute her internal world with objets presented at GEISAI and drawings including her new works.
