The Japan Association of Art Museums (JAAM, http://event.yomiuri.co.jp/jaam/m_birenkyou_en.cfm) chose the exhibition "Alternative Humanities Jan Fabre x Funakoshi Katsura" held at 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa last year (April 29 - August 31, 2010).

This exhibition tried to approach the root of spirituality of each of the East and the West from various angles by verifying the two artists’ worlds of expression in contrast: Jan Fabre and Funakoshi Katsura. It was co-produced with Louvre’s curator, Marie-Laure Bernadac, and recorded 147,890 visitors (* the data provided by the museum).
