Enami Nara (b. 1977 in Hokkaido prefectural) won the Gold prize at GEISAI#10 which was organized by Takashi Murakami in 2006. In 2008, Nara went and stayed in New York for a year as the oversea trainee by Pola Art Foundation. She has continuously presented new works at solo exhibitions "JUMP" (2006, tokyo wonder site hongo, Tokyo), "refigure" (2008, GALLERY at lammfromm) and "LIFE" (2010, Bambinart Gallery), "skateboarding", "fight", "audience", "bed", and "cemetery" are her leading series of works and these series but new works will be shown at this exhibition.

Nara’s works show simplified images of action or scenery, so that the shapes of these images show up clearly. In this way, the images of fighting, audience or cemetery lose their original meaning and shed light on outlines.

People flare their emotions (fight), People who can be both seeing or being seen (audience), every people get tired and sleep (bed) and all people are mortal (cemetery). People experience other lives and many things happen, but life goes by. Nara paints human behavior running over somber, day and day, year and year with no tension.

In this exhibition, new works from five series, "fight", "audience", "cemetery" and other, will be exhibited.
