Animal such as the horse and the cat are drawn as small items in the background of a soft color. This is the first solo exhibition in Kyoto for Masui. The detailed drawing in lines reminds me of Yayoi Kusama's work. However Masui's works are not obsessional like Kusama's ones. There is an extension of the painting space liberated by the accumulation of exact drawing in lines.
