POCORART is a project which aims to celebrate the unique abilities which each individual possesses and open up arts access for all, as both creator and appreciator, with particular support for those with disabilities. It takes what lies at the core of all of us and aims to create a place in which each core can impact upon the other. Having launched a nation wide open call for submissions, with over 1028 responses, a select choice of over 250 works from all range of genres will be presented in 3331's main gallery and highlighting the diversity of creative expression which 3331 aims to foster. In this exhibition there is a wealth of colour, lines and forms, emanating a strong presence of each individual artist, and which is sure to surprise, excite and uplift the viewer.
During the exhibition visitors will have the opportunity to nominate their favourite work for the a special award, the winner of which will be offered a further exhibition at 3331 during this year.

POCORART will also be offering regular tours of the exhibition as well accompanying workshops especially tailored for the physically challenged, but which can be enjoyed by all. We welcome you to join this diverse and colourful event rich in individual expression.

【 Awards 】
Jury Award(Each member of the jury panel will select one work)
Audience Award(1 work to be selected by visitors to the exhibition)
Votes for the audience award may be cast between 28th January (Fri) - 5th February (Sat) 2011. 
The awards will be announced on 6th February (Sun) 2011 on the 3331 website and within the centre itself.
The winners will have the opportunity to join another exhibition to be organized by 3331 in 2011.

■POCORART Tour
*Especially for people with disabilities
A guided tour of 3331 Arts Chiyoda especially suitable for those with disabilities. With expert staff we shall explore the POCORART exhibition as well as the overall centre of 3331.

Suitable for: Anyone is welcome to join, but those with disabilities will be given priority

■POCORART Workshop/『Moving Image Workshop』
(Instructor:Oki Hiroyuki)
"Joining the uniqueness of each participant into one short moving image work. Move about, gesture, shout, write, draw, shake the camera, occaisionally look into the sky. In the time we spend together there are many things which occur, and by freely joining these together it is sure to make a great film."

Capacity: 20 participants
Instructor: Oki Hiroyuki(Artist)
Has presented his work in various international film festivals and exhibitions. Amongst his many works he has produced a documentary about a dance workshop for children with disabilities. Resides in Kochi prefecture.
