The first museum-held retrospective devoted to Takashi HOMMA (b. 1962), an artist long active at the forefront of contemporary photographic expression. The entire scope of Homma’s oeuvre will be shown through varied displays and works of wide-ranging character. The exhibition will survey his many contributions to fashion magazines and photographic collections which are re-edited and explored into very new work, "re-construction". Featured also will be installations employing recent works that, while taking nature and animal behavior as their subjects, closely examine photography itself as a medium, and new works prepared for the sake of this museum.
