Nara was born in 1977, went through winning the gold prize of GEISAI#10 organized by Takashi Murakami, holding her first solo exhibition "JUMP" at tokyo wonder site hongo, group exhibition at tokyo wonder site shibuya and second solo exhibition "refigure" at GALLERY at lammfromm.

In 2008, she stayed in New York as an overseas trainee of Pola Art Foundation. This exhibition is the first solo exhibition since she came back to Japan. Nara depicted people like a boy skateboarding, girls beating each other up and a crowd onlooking from images she picked up from magazines or TV show past years. Her main theme has been people. However, the leading image came to her mind was gravestone this time. She says she was inspired when she visited a cemetery while she was in New York.

Enami Nara’s "LIFE" will show approximately 10 new works including "cemetery" series and "interview".
