Kazumi YOSHIZAWA "pretend" (2010); 53x45.5cm, oil on canvas, courtesy of the artist and Bambinart Gallery "Hito" means person in Japanese, and this exhibition aims to show relations between people in society by collecting and exhibiting unique portraits. The plural form of "Hito" is pronounced "Hito-Bito". However, to emphasize each individual's consciousness and the softness of the word "Hito", I named this exhibition "Hito-Hito". |
