The eighth volume of the annual "New Illustrators File" is published by Art Box in April. "New Illustrators File" is an index-type book that brings together 150 artists currently active in the fields of advertising illustration, editorial, fashion, TV, web and other media. >From pencil and aquarelle to CGI, and also realism, characters, mixed media, etc, it embraces a large range of styles and techniques. The reader can also find detail profiles and comments from the artists themselves.
To celebrate the publication of the "New Illustrators File" vol. 8, a release exhibition will be organized in Art Box gallery located in the center of Ginza. Art Box will disclose the illustrations published in the book and also new original works provided by the artists.
Art Box always making a point of revealing new talents and of launching the career of young and promising artists, the exhibition offers the opportunity for the visitors and the people working the field to make interesting discoveries. The second week will be dedicated to the showing of the works of the international illustrators who, for the first time this year, are among the artists listed in the "New Illustrators File". Art Box will exhibit the illustrations of more than a dozen leaders of the international illustration world, in fashion, editorial, advertising, etc. The visitor will be able to see the works of Scandinavian fashion illustrators such as Cecilia Carlstedt, Wendy Plovmand, and Mia Overgaard; the Brazilian multi awards winner, Kako; the French street artist, Monsieur Qui; Jon Krause, Marcos Chin, Jean-Manuel Duvivier, Martin Haake, whose works can be seen in the most influential newspapers and magazines in Europe and the US, and several others.
