Opened in Setagaya as a project art gallery of contemporary art in 1987, and relocated to Shoto, Shibuya in 1996, Galerie Ando holds an exhibition of contemporary art from old-timers to young artists for three weeks every month. High-quality exhibitions can be seen here throughout the year. Though it is a small space, this is of little concern when viewing an exhibition because the high quality of the exhibition provides the space with a feeling of depth. It is difficult to see the beauty, richness, and completeness of each work in the catalogue. I thus want you to see it only by physically being in the gallery space.

The among the represented artists are Kazuo Okazaki, Kazuhide Omi, Yoshiou Sakagishi, Mineo Sakata, Takeshi Shinohara, Kimio Tsuchiya, Atushi Hosoi, Hidenori Majima, Tomoharu Murakami, and Akira Yamamoto.
