I laughed in spite of myself as viewing the work there.
In the hall, familiar things of daily life, such as a book, a seasoning, a toothbrush, and cotton work glove are placed side by side. However, if carefully looking, the upper part of the displayed book is cut down like showing the falling movement. The bottle of the salt has the label pattern not drawn outside the bottle but inside - on the salt. The brushes of two toothbrushes are connected to each other. The author's viewpoint has abundant wit, and sublimes "a product" into "an artwork" as firmly keeping the impression of the motif itself. It is beautifully impressive that she does not only rely on her own idea but also makes the best use of beauty as the thing, such as the feeling of quality seen in the book smoothly planed, the appearance of the small work made of bend wire in a character shape.
It is the kind of exhibition that you can readily visit for a recreation, and even enjoy it with a person you have just met there.
