USA, Peru, Holland,
Bhutan, Australia,
Oman, Egypt, Japan This exhibition is the linkup of the various places and times as above Norio Kidera has visited and took pictures before. When you come to this exhibition, you will feel as if you meet some old photographs in the trunk after turning it over. They are like framed pictures of common places you might see before from a window somewhere. However, you may feel the precious moment on them on the other hand. This is the third solo exhibition at YOKOI FINE ART after an interval of two years.
The first exhibition is “jicca” focusing on his parents’ home.
The next one is “meisje” - the story of the Dutch girl and her family living in the strange house.
From these previous exhibitions on, his world has his own atmosphere continuously and comes home to us. “I took pictures in the past, however, when I see them is at present and I think about future then.” he said. “Briefly speaking, these pictures are my favorite. They make me calm and I would like to display them in my room.” The scenes he met and another scenes he will meet – he will keep on making the map of the places and the time he links-up. * The text provided by YOKOI FINE ART.
