Nokuko Watanabe pursues her unique way of expression of creating relief by catching cloth in wooden frame. Now that her style of creation has reached to the simple method as she had all worked out the "cloth". When we watch the combination of beautiful curves and the hollows which are created by the caught cloth, rich color and unique forms, we feel like to be drew into it. Then we will find ourselves enjoying and basking in its afterglow, as we fall into a mellow trap which is played by her. She has her base in Osaka and worldwide international projects holding solo- exhibitions and participating art-fare in Germany, Korea and France.
