Opened in Omori, Tokyo as the modern art section of Ikeuchi art Ltd. in 1991. Because of the huge space of 198 ㎡ and 3 stories and unique projects including "One night exhibition" for new artists, Roentgenwerke was widely noticed at the time. Many exhibitions by avant-garde artists such as Takashi Murakami and Makoto Aida who represent Japanese art , were held, and it became a legendary gallery. It moved to Aoyama and then to Kichijoji as an independent gallery in 2001. Afterwards, it moved to Roppongi and then to Bakuro-cho in March, 2008. It still bears the centripetal force that drives Japanese art and introduces new talented artists one after another through the three main galleries of "Geijutsu Soko" of Nasu, Tochigi succeeded from a collector, Mr. Ogasawara after he died, "graniph gallery" of Daimyo, Fukuokakuoka and "Radi-um" of Bakuro-cho.
