Taki Kiyoko Exhibition - Multiple Personality
Published: December 14 2020

From exhibition work. Oil on canvas

‘Self’ for Taki is something that is so diverse she cannot be too aware of, and sometimes it can also be antagonistic. We can see her emotional complex overflowing from her work, her gratitude towards even a small delight in everyday life and on the other hand her angers towards many griefs and sadness happening in the world as wars, discrimination and poverty.
In this 3d exhibition we see one of her works titled ‘Burning Flame’ that was based on the issue around natural fires caused by global environmental destruction. She faces society, self and death in all of her works and expresses love and hate as one and indivisible.
