" Revolution in the night " oil on paper, 152x500cm, 2020

Taishin Ono was born in Aizu region, Fukushima. He was a primary school student when Great East Japan Earthquake occurred. He is now a university student and has set himself in a position to think ‘from Fukushima’s view’. He has officially started his artistic activities beginning with his solo exhibition ‘inaudible cry in Fukushima’ last year. Last winter he has visited Hong Kong to act with and among the people there. After coming back from Hong Kong he has been working to protect rights as a human being even in this unknown crisis caused by the pandemic of corona virus. As ‘I and non-I’ that exists between cosmos and the earth that he has been living in, he tries to think and act with us. He expresses his and people’s inaudible cries about humans, nature and society.
