Galerie Tokyo Humanité is pleased to present Accumulation and Diffusion: Festivity, an exhibition of KURODA Katsumasa's new paintings. Inspired by graffiti in New York, Kuroda creates powerful and improvisational paintings in which lines and color fields cross each other and merge together occasionally.

Kuroda was born in Shiga, Japan in 1945. He studied oil painting in Musashino Art University and received his M.A. from Tokyo University of the Arts in 1972. He received a grand prize of The Japan International Art Exhibition in 1988.
