Galerie Tokyo Humanité is pleased to announce TAKAHASHI Tsunesama's solo exhibition of new works entitled Looking at "Images" That Are Looking Back at Me. Included in this exhibition are more than 80 paintings of animals, landscapes, portraits, and other images that gushes out from him and Takahashi struggles to capture them in paintings everyday.

Takahashi (b. 1949) was inspired by the Vienna School of Fantastic Realism and studied under Rudolf Husner and Ernst Fuchs in Vienna and Hamburg from 1974. After 4 years of stay in Europe, he returned to Japan and has been working actively as a painter and illustrator.
