‘Shake Slightly Strong’
This group exhibition is created by Isaka Kenichiro and other artists who have studied art in the Faculty of Education and postgraduate Isaka-Laboratoty at the University of Yamanashi.
Isaka creates a space where something ‘in between’-that nobody notices- becomes alive. Kiyomi Kaneko renounces perspectives by focusing on ‘the betweens’ of spaces and therefore making the contrast stronger. Yuka Kuriyama expresses expanding chaotic energies through her motif, conflicts between lingering smokes and lights of fireworks. Ayumi Koike works under the various abstract concepts and sensuous thoughts coming out from her interests in forms and ecology of nature. Tsutomu Deto creates a space which is different from his usual surrounding world, and it makes us want to jump in and explore. Mika Fukuda lets out a new painting space as she amplifies the image of flowers by using batik dyeing.
Above six artists exhibit their expressions of ‘Shake Slightly Strong’. We hope that the viewers will also have an experience of thinking about ‘Shake Slightly Strong’
