   The world changes at terrific speed. Things we could never imagine ten years before become an everyday affair and it changes our lives whether we like it or not. In this situation we often argue how ‘Japan’ should be and what ‘Japanese’ should do. Yet have we ever considered what ‘Japan’ means to us or what it can be? It is very important to question with each of our individual sharpened sensitivity, and not to use the word ‘Japan’ as something that has already been shared as a concrete fact. In this group exhibition ‘Japan’ is thought, felt and expressed by the language of arts.
