Since his residential work in frigid Vermont Nobuhiko Utsumi has transformed his painting style excessively, and he has started to paint the earth and the cosmos with mixed media. There he had a wide acquaintance and so Utsumi has been invited by Peruvian government to stay and work for a large-scaled solo exhibition at the National Museum of Peru in twice. Moreover, he has visited various places in Peru such as Nazca and gained huge inspirations from the boundless universe, and he achieved the transformation of his painting style as a transition.

The retrospective exhibition of Nobuhiko Utsumi started with his works from 1970’s, this forth time exhibition shows the collection of his works which became an important turning point for Utsumi.
