To take advantage of the Art Area B1,the exhibition to explore the possibility of art and knowledge,annually since 2011.The 4th edition in 2015, New“Colony / Island”,focused on the themes Nakanoshima and intelligence of Fungi.

In this year of the project, entitled “New Colony/Island２.Dialogue and action concerning disaster”and focusing on the "disaster" that occurs from the workings of the Japanese archipelago itself and the Earth is located in the planet Earth.
In this exhibition, it constitutes the exhibition environment to resemble an art area B1 to a house, and convert photos and video works, the documentation for the disaster, such as wallpaper and fabrics, each place of life, such as the entrance, living and children room space it . In this exhibition, through the exhibition and during the present session of the talk program, think about the disaster that exist next to “our daily life”in the Japanese archipelago, and create opportunities to overlap dialogues and gestures.
