Opened in Fukuoka in 1989 as one of Mitsubishi-Jisho's culture-related projects, Mitsubishi-Jisho ARTIUM has introduced and conveyed various forms of contemporary art and expression by both famous and emerging artists from around the world as well as personalities, architects, photographers, designers, and art directors. ARTIUM features a different genre and theme with each show, hoping to serve as a place of shared expression, and somewhere to invent new relationships and possibilities, for example, the public exhibition "For Rent For Talent", which doesn't ask the art media as well as being amateur / professional.
