Yoryokuso Tamekichi Exhibition, May I ask you some... vol.9

Yorykuso Tamekichi's exhibition series " May I ask you some..." intends to create an alternative method of communication by which ordinary people can talk about political issues without difficulty caused from hostility and prejudice.
To ask about a problem considered to be very important now to a visitor at the exhibition ,Yoryokuso Tamekichi wears a costume which covers his whole body with a loose form and becomes a person without a face or other visual characteristics which show his personality and social standing. This transformation gives Tamekichi a liberation from self-consciousness and desire to insist on his own opinion, so that he can devote himself to hearing the opinion of the visitor. At the same time, This costume gives the visitor a sense of humor and simplicity and tempts him to express his own thoughts without wariness or diffidence.
Thus Yorykuso Tamekichi experiments a new style of dialogue between us to promote democracy in modern society.
