His works – created during his first long stay in a couple of decades – focus on an attempt to visualize the invisible, and show the influence of time, place. They pick up the unconscious from consciousness to conjure memories and visual perceptions which normally do not appear on the surface of our mind.

His layers of colours and forms are resemble of autowriting -they are created not through the concious mind of the artist but he rather becomes a tool that delivers the images. Used palettes, paper towels and even old drawings are carefully kept aside in his studio. These peripheral materials get traced onto his canvas and construct his paintings. Addressing both unconsciousness and consciousness, his practice digs out inconscient visual perceptions and layers of these imageries create fascinating density of superficies in his paintings. This is an opportunity to reconsider the artist’s identity. All paintings are newly made during his stay in Japan.
