Tsuyoshi Ozawa One-man Group Show 2: Okamoto Gotaro - "Nesting Car or Matreshka" 2004, ©Ota Fine Arts copy right(c) Tsuyoshi OZAWA In this summer, Ozawa will have his large solo exhibition, "Tsuyoshi Ozawa: The Invisible Runner Strides On" at Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art from 1 August, and will follow by "The 4th Fukuoka Asian Art Triennale 2009" from 5 September. The artist will participate in it as an unit of three artists from Japan, China and Korea. This exhibition will forcus on exceptional works among the artist's wide range of series in the past. He has always been seeking for making art through understainding/misunderstanding with others and adaptations from historical and regional events. Sometimes an exceptional challenge or leap can be seen through this process. It is almost as if every processes are seeds of the flowers can bloom in the future. It will exhibit a wide variety of works from Ozawa's exceptional series of "White House and the Self-Defense Forces", "the Carpet from the Sky", "Art Football" and so on. * The text was provided by Ota Fine Arts. |
