After completing master’s course at Tohoku University of Art and Design, Yusaku Kobayashi has been engaging in agriculture in his home town, Yamagata prefecture. And at the same time, he has been working on his installation art using newspaper as his material. He tries to create a space that gives out countless questions by reconstructing information medium ‘newspaper’ as materialistic material. Last June under the COVID-19 situation, he held an installation exhibition at home, Yamagata. This time is also a web-exhibition under circumstances of COVID-19, so there is not going to be an actual display at the gallery.
