From the ancient times the people has developed various ways to produce a picture using the property of the water, such as ink flow painting, marbling, dripping and so on. The artist unit Moriya Korin and Hiromi also visualizes how the water would give endless and predictable changes to our art works, by the methode whiich seems to be the simplest in both device and technique. In the former exhibition, they showed the flowing shadow pictures on the walls, which are the reflections of the things put in the basin. And This time their work is the movie which shows us how the paints dripped in the circulating water would keep moving, spreading, mixing each other slowly and endlessly. This work may look like a simple play at the first glance, but gradually it would arrive at the depths of our consciousness, and lead us to meditate about the world with neither the regularity nor the periodicity. http://homepage3.nifty.com/gallerykInformation Provided by: Gallery K Period: June 27,2016 (Mon) 〜 July 2,2016 (Sat) |
