This was opened in Bakurosho, Tokyo in 2007 as a contemporary art gallery co-managed by GALLERY HASHIMOTO and KEUMSAN GALLERY TOKYO (the H.Q. in South Korea). The gallery introduces the contemporary art of Asia, centering on artists in Japan, South Korea, and China. It also plays a mediated role of art between Japan and South Korea, and provides an opportunity to see actual works by remarkable South Korean artists in Japan. Among the artists represented by GALLERY HASHIMOTO are Noe AOKI, Tadasu YAMAMOTO, Yosuke TAKAYAMA and Masaki OGIHARA. Artist represented by KEUMSAN GALLERY include Yu Fan, Seomi Lee, Suk Chul Joo, Lee Dongi, Han SaengGon and many others.
